Family friendly fun abounds in Aurora and much of it is free to the public! We enjoy the Phillips Park Zoo and playground, the forest preserves and its sled hills, and biking along Fox River Trail. There are several parades and libraries, music fests, and cultural events. At the Paramount, you can take in a Broadway play or catch a classic movie for $1. Ride a mini train, pony, or paddle boat, and see farm animals as well as how pioneers lived all at Blackberry Farm.

LAURA SALTIJERAL, john greene Realtor

My wife and I love Mexican food - like real tacos with onion and cilantro, chips made from scratch, and good guacamole. Nothing compares to Aurora’s Tacos. El Tio, Taqueria Muniz, La Quebrada, Taco Madre, Jaliscos, the list goes on. Even the food trucks have it dialed in - like Diablo’s Taco’s on Jericho. And that’s just the west side! If tacos aren’t your jam, the downtown scene is full of hipster places, notably Two Brother's Roundhouse, Ballydoyle and coffee shops like Endiro.
